Eagle Secondary's College and Career Fair on May 17 was a great success!  Students were able to meet and talk to representatives from many local colleges, universities, and other post-secondary institutions.  Thank you to everyone who participated!
 
 
The UT Girls Basketball Team met with students at Eagle Secondary on May 15.
 
 
Eagle Secondary has partnered with the YMCA to provide swimming classes as well as using the facility for parent nights, fitness classes, and service learning projects.

EAS has also partnered up with the Toledo Bowling Lanes and is providing a Bowling club for EAS students. The Toledo Bowling Lanes is also providing transportation for our students.
 
 
EAS has had another successful Positive Behavior Party! Those students who gave 100% effort on completing the OAA’s and have demonstrated the expectations at EAS attended the party. The party included fun filled activities students could choose from:  Game Room, Volleyball Game, Basketball Station, Movie Room, Football Station, Computer Room, or Wii Competition.  Well done  Eagle Secondary students!
 
 
EAS is doing service learning projects with the YMCA the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month. This month they will be cleaning up parks in Downtown Toledo!

EAS is excited to meet and visit the Women’s University of Toledo’s Basketball team on May 15th at 1:45 p.m.

EAS is hosting the Athletics Breakfast on May 31 at 9 a.m.

EAS is having the Annual Awards Assembly on May 31 at 2 p.m.

The EAS Talent Show is May 29 at 2 p.m.

EAS will have final exams for 6th-9th grade students on May 24 and May 25. 

The EAS Picnic will be May 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pearson Park!

 The Secondary Campus will attend the Mud Hens Baseball game with the 5th grade students at the elementary campus on May 16th!

The Teen Leadership Club at EAS begins Monday May 23rd!

EAS students will work hard and have fun during OAA Test Prep on Saturday May 28th from 9:00-12:00.

EAS is hosting the first annual college fair on May 17th from 1:00-2:43! Many institutions will be attending the event to provide students with information on planning for higher education.

EAS is hosting Transition Day on May 10th! Fifth grade students from the elementary campus will be visiting the secondary campus to meet the staff and learn what to expect at the secondary campus.

 
 
Eagle Elementary and Secondary competed against other Leona schools at the Midwest Spelling Bee at Cesar Chavez Academy in Detroit.  Two Eagle students placed in the top 10, with Selena (grade 8) in 5th place and Destiny (grade 6) in 7th place.  Eagle Secondary placed 2nd overall as a team.  Congratulations, Team Eagle Academy!
 
 
Ricki in grade 5 represented Eagle Elementary and Destiny in grade 6 represented Eagle Secondary at the 2012 Blade Northwest Ohio Spelling Bee Championship last night.  Ricki correctly spelled "harmonica" in the first round and misspelled "credentials" in the second round.  Destiny misspelled "cauliflower" in the first round.  Well done, Eagle spellers, for making it to the Championship this year!

Enrollment is now open to all new students entering grades K-10 in the fall.  Please give us a call, click Enroll above, or stop by for an application packet.  We are happy to welcome you on campus for a tour.

Enrollment priority is given to current students and their siblings, and then is open to all on a first-come, first-served basis.  Once a grade level is full, additional students will be placed on a waiting list. 

Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on March 30 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Eagle Elementary for all children enrolling in kindergarten for the fall.  Application packets will be available, as well as welcome packs, tours, and activities.
