Ms. Kane is the school leader at Eagle Academy Elementary.
Ms. Kane's presence at Eagle Academy dates back 10 years to 2001, when Eagle Academy first opened its doors. Ms. Kane began her tenure with Eagle Academy teaching at the Kindergarten level. For the past six years, she has served the Academy as Instructional Coach/Assistant School Leader. Ms. Kane holds a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Toledo. She and her family reside in the Toledo area. Ms. Kane is thrilled to now be leading the school she has called home for over 10 years. She looks forward to meeting you and your child this fall! Mr. Mitchel Bean is the school leader at Eagle Academy Secondary campus. Mr. Bean brings to the academy a rich history of educational experience and leadership that is of tremendous value to our program.
Mr. Bean is an accomplished educator of over 30 years. During his nearly14-year tenure with Leona Group, he has served in the capacities of principal/school leader, dean of students, curriculum coordinator, special education teacher, history teacher and social studies department chair. Mr. Bean holds two Master of Arts degrees from the University in Detroit in special education and curriculum and instruction. His Bachelor of Science in secondary education included majors in history and physical education. These are exciting times at Eagle Academy. There are always opportunities to meet with Mr. Bean about any concerns you may have or just to catch up on how things are going. Melissa Miller, Instructional Coach K-5
Melissa Miller is the Instructional Coach at Eagle Academy Elementary. This is her 10th year at Eagle Academy. She has taught grades K, 3, 4, 5, and 6. In 1999 she graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement. Mrs. Miller enjoys spending time with her family which include her husband and two children.

Melissa Lipscomb is the instructional Coach at Eagle Academy Secondary. She is excited about begining her first year at Eagle Academy. Mrs. Lipscomb has taught High School Language Arts in Detroit for four years. She also has a background in special education as a teacher and school consultant. Mrs. Lipscomb graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor's in Science in Education with special education and Drama endorsements. She also obtained her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at University of Detroit Mercy. Mrs. Lipscomb enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and soccer!
