Welcome to Mrs. Wilson's Third Grade Classroom!

Picture
Hi! My name is Jennifer Wilson and I will be teaching 3rd grade this year. I'm looking forward to an exciting year!  I  taught second grade last year and look forward to looping with my class this year!  This will be my second year here at Eagle Academy.
    As the school year gets started I want to talk about my homework procedure for this year. I will be giving students a homework packet on Monday of each week and the students will then be required to return the packet on the last day of school that week. There  will be student planner brought home every day with spelling words in them.Spelling tests will be  Fridays unless we have a Friday off then it will be a Thursday.
    Eagle Academy supplies most of the students school supplies, but I would like to ask parents to donate these items for classroom use:
* 2 Boxes of Tissues
* 2 bottles of Hand Sanitizer
* 2 rolls of paper towels
    Thank you in advance! This really helps the support a cleaner and healthier working environment!

About Mrs. Wilson
    I graduated from the University of Toledo in 1998 with a Bachelors in Education. Then I went to Lourdes College where I received my Teaching License from K-3rd.I enjoy teaching children.
    I am happily married to my wonderful husband Kevin and have two children. My daughter Korrin keeps me busy with her baton twirling, volleyball and soccer. My son Trent also keeps me busy with swimming and soccer. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and playing with my kids. I also have three dogs that keep me on my toes!
    In my spare time(mostly weekends) I am a gymnastics judge. I travel all over Ohio to judge gymnast.  It is a fun hobby that I enjoy doing. I took gymnastics for 15 years as a child and judging is a great way to keep me in the sport.
